And one more photo: Tangle

Macro of some moss. I also spent some time experimenting with grunge/noise brushes and color palette to get the outside ‘just right’. Somehow the twisting tendrils frozen in the midst of furious writhing. Also check out Tangle for another take on a very similar subject.
