Marbles and the new logic board

By Sparky | December 3, 2006

Sadly it seems that the Core 2 Duo Macbooks are just as vulnerable to the overheating problems/random rebooting as the prior ones were. My poor Marbles reboots whenever the processor gets hot - even just as hot as it gets pegging the processor for a few minutes.

The good news: it’s a free and easy repair - they just replace the processor and main logic board. The bad news: it will take 3-5 days for the parts to come in so they can repair my poor Marbles.

Oh well - at least I still have iChoad to keep me up to date on the tubes.
