Batgears (or: Future Mechanicals)

Yesterday was the Seattle Motorcycle show - I went down with Brien and some friends of his and took photos. This shot makes me think of what the gearbox on the Batmobile must look like! Somehow it also brings to mind visions of the introduction to Bicentennial Man, a movie which has a special spot in my heart for being one of Isaac Asimov’s greatest stories, although rather mediocre in its adaptation to film.
I wonder what the machines of tomorrow will look like on the inside?
