Tonight a bad thing happened – my Powerbook’s AC adapter died in a shower of sparks. Luckily it happened at about 7:00 before the Apple store closed so I was able to go down and get the problem fixed and get a new one right away.
You know it’s always a mixed blessing going to the Apple store. I was disappointed to find out that you normally need an appointment to go to get a repair done, but luckily they had an opening that night and I was able to talk to the tech right away. Aside from that their customer service was great as always – friendly, knowledgeable, and apologetic that there was a problem.
After a quick dinner with Brien topped off the evening preparing me for the weekend ahead.
