Inside an e-commerce giant’s shipping facility

Slashdot just pointed me at a cool tour of the Newegg.com facility that was very well documented by Anandtech. The tour shows off their automated bin picking system and shows how they can blend machine automation with human intelligence and light labor to get things out the door so quickly and with such a great accuracy rate. I’ve heard Amazon has a very similar system - I would love to see a video or photo tour of their facilities to see how they differ.
