FlipChoad meet your little brother MiniChoad

By Flickr | January 15, 2006

It’s been a relaxing and fun weekend. I’ve watched a lot of television, and continued my conquest of re-encoding all of my videos into h.264. I’ve put in a few more hours on touching up all the photo’s of Janet’s wedding and hope to have all the post production work within another couple of weeks.

On Saturday I decided that I needed a smaller phone and a second line of service so that I could always have an optimal device with a good trade off between form factor and functionality. I ended up settling on the Cingular 2125, which has Windows Mobile 5.0 just like my Qtek 9100, and makes email/sms decently easy (aside from it’s lack of a QWERTY keyboard). Even though both devices share most of the same specifications (processor, screen resolution, network support, RAM) the smartphone based 2125 seems much more responsive, and with it’s antenna sled it has far superior reception for both voice and data.

Today made for a Costco run with Brien. We both got lots of frozen foodstuffs, and went in on some ready to cook food for tonight. Now I’m sitting here in a food coma, blogging before I let sleep take me.

On that note…
