One second of music

By Sparky | January 5, 2006

Leap Sounds is a unique little project over at createdigitalmusic. It’s a collection of 1 second tracks spliced together honoring the second of time added atomic clocks everywhere on the first of this year to account for the slowing of the earths rotation. Very plinky happy music if you ask me!

Also: THE EARTH IS SLOWING?! I know 26 seconds in 30 years is not too much, but it’s still an alarming thought. What happens if eventually the earth stops rotating? Luckily I won’t be around in any sort of biological way to endure whatever effects may come of it by then.
